BUSINESS YORKSHIRE TO HOST REGION'S BIGGEST NETWORKING EVENT

Business Yorkshire, the premier business-to-business exhibition and conference, will give businesses the opportunity to join the region’s biggest B2B networking session, as well as take part in ‘Speed Networking’ when the event arrives at Doncaster Racecourse 25-26 November.

Wednesday evening will see Business Yorkshire hosting the region’s largest networking session with complimentary drinks courtesy of Nationwide Media Group, the organiser of Business Yorkshire. Exhibitors and businesses will be able to relax and network in an informal environment over cocktails or a glass of wine. The networking session will take place at 5.30pm – 7pm in the Network café (sponsored by infoUK).

Visitors will also have an opportunity to try Speed Networking over the two days of the event. Organised in partnership with Corkscrew Events and sponsored by Business Link, the 7 Speed Networking sessions, each lasting one hour, provide a faster and more reliable way to meet new contacts and form business relationships. Participants have 60 seconds to promote their business and exchange information with the person sitting opposite them, before moving along to the next candidate. Places for the Speed Networking sessions are limited so will only be allocated to those who pre-register and confirm their booking by checking in at the Corkscrew Events stand 30 minutes before their departure.

Speaking about the networking opportunities, Scott Hider, Managing Director of Nationwide Media Group said; “Business Yorkshire is all about relationships, whether it is confirming and strengthening existing relationships, or creating new ones. The event is designed to provide the local business and entrepreneurial community with a chance to promote itself, seek funding, identify opportunities, be better educated and inspired, and to develop relationships.

“Speed Networking is a great concept and past experience suggests we will be oversubscribed, so visitors need to register early. The networking session in the Network café will be a great opportunity for visitors and exhibitors to relax together and both develop and strengthen relationships.”
